Accessibility Statement for MindOfDerby

Measures to support accessibility
MindOfDerby takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of MindOfDerby:

  • Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.

  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.

  • As a small creative studio accessibility efforts are embedded directly into design decision making rather than handled as a separate department.


Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. MindOfDerby is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of MindOfDerby , there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations for MindOfDerby:

  1. Highly visual and interactive sections including hero animations video embeds and 3D based visuals: Some visual content may not yet include full text alternatives or may rely on motion or hover based interactions because MindOfDerby prioritizes cinematic and experimental visuals which can introduce accessibility challenges during early design stages. We are actively refining layouts adding descriptive alternatives where appropriate and reducing unnecessary motion during updates. If you encounter an accessibility issue please contact us at mindofderby@gmail.com and we will provide an alternative or assist directly.
