Approach & Execution
Each animation starts with a visual trigger such as a sound, a motion, or a lighting idea, which evolves into a full cinematic sequence. Environments are crafted for tone and storytelling, from neon-lit roads to foggy industrial spaces. Everything is built and edited inside Blender, including animation, lighting, VFX, and render passes. Final output is color graded in-app and occasionally refined in external tools for audio sync and finishing. These are creative experiments that reflect MindOfDerby’s cinematic and technical strengths.
A cinematic exploration of car culture through 3D. These passion projects blend high-end automotive design, custom-built environments, and music-driven storytelling, all created entirely within Blender. Each piece is an exercise in visual poetry, where stylized lighting, dynamic camera work, and sound-reactive pacing mirror the mood of a music video or short film.
Fueled by a deep love for cars and motion, these films go beyond realism to build atmosphere, tone, and texture. Every asset is crafted in-house, from vehicle modeling and shading to environment design and worldbuilding. The final compositions are edited and color graded within Blender’s internal tools, creating a seamless, fully 3D-native pipeline.
